Natueco Farming for Sustainable Agriculture
Training on Natueco farming a sustainable agriculture
Duration: 3 days
Reporting at: Krushi Teerath, Bajwada, Dewas (MP)
Reporting Date: 6 PM on a day before commencement of training
Objectives:
At the end of the training programme, trainees should have
Methodology:
There are structured sessions. Within each session the methodology of imparting knowledge or skills is different. It encompasses lecture by the resource person, participation of the trainees, hands on practice in farm, video films, focused group discussions and power point presentations.
The emphasis is on learning by doing with a team of peer group on the demonstration farm at Bajwada. A team learns through hands on practices under special observation and supervision of expert trainers.
To make a good understanding a booklet of literature, a video film and a few handouts will also be provided during the training. Evenings will be utilized for video based learning session so as to let the trainees comprehend the training better.
Evaluation:
The session schedule has also evolved a set of deliverables after each session. The trainers are used to make session evaluations by question –answer session or by group responses. This ensures that each session has been able to meet the desired result.
Also at the end of training program a formal session to assess the participants will be organised. The idea is to assess the trainer through the performance of the trainees. There is a lot of emphasis on evaluation of trainees in our programs since we too need to have strong extension mechanism through such trainings.

It appears there will be more than one venue this year for attending the All India Meet for 2013.
The first one is
- Krishi Teerth, Harda, Madhya Pradesh.

11 hours journey from Mumbai to Harda station.
Then it is 25 km to Bajwada, which can be covered by bus or car.
50 minutes from bus stand.
Or 6 people can come by car.

Stay & Food and cost

Rs. 200 for individual per day.
Rs. 100 for individual who cannot afford 200 per day.
Rs. 0 for people who find it difficult economically and only can spend behind there travelling.

- Introduction of the participants
- Establishing the objectives of this training, general discipline around the campus
- An educational walk around the farm covering:
- Different Methods of farming and its present concerns
- What is Natueco farming Eco system and it’s importance
- Tea Break
- Understanding how human intervention helps in enriching, enhancing the plant/tree, eco system and symbiotically increasing the prosperity for the farmers
- Lunch
- Amrut Jal
- Soaking of the biomass in Amrut Jal.
- Tea Break
- How to make a marginal farmer prosper.
-Concept sharing of two models i.e. Ganga Ma Mandal and -Ten Guntha model.

Condensation
Preparation of Amrit Mitti
1. Practical collection of biomass & segregating them.
2. Preparing Amrut Mitti (with explaining about the contents and its science)
3. Chopping biomass

5. Preparation of heaps of 3'x10'x1'
6. Broadcasting of Six types of seeds
7. Taking care of Heap

1. Different pruning methods and practices to be adopted on

- Nearest train station is Harda (via Khandwa or via Itarsi)
- Train journey from Mumbai to Harda is about 11 hours.
- Taxi from Harda up to farm may need advance booking and costs Rs.500/-.
- Rickshaw from Harda up to farm may need advance booking and costs Rs.350/-.
- From Harda, the nearest bigger well-known village is Nemawar.
- Public buses are available from Harda to Nemawar.
- Nemawar is 130 kms by bus from Indore (Navlakha)
- Nemawar is 140 kms by bus from Bhopal (ISBT Depot, stop near Sanchi Dairy).
- The farm at Bajwada is about 5 kms from Nemawar.
- There are no hotels either in Nemawar or at Bajwada.
- Contact farm, preferably when you leave from Harda, for pick-up (24x7).
- The pick-up will meet you at Nemawar tea-stall, opposite temple.

- A walk from Nemawar to the farm takes about 30-50 minutes.
- The nearest airports are Indore and Bhopal
- Taxi from Indore or Bhopal to farm costs Rs.2,100-Rs.2,500.
